About EdSol
EdSol (Education Solutions) provides independent IELTS practice: practice tests, timed mocks, score tools, games and AI preparation tools. It is not an official IELTS test, test centre or certification service, and it is not a substitute for official test materials. EdSol is operated from Bangladesh by Abdullah Al Maswud.
Your account
Most practice needs a free account. You can create one with your email address and a password, or continue with Google. Each email address has one EdSol account: signing in with Google using the same address opens that account rather than creating a second one.
An email and password account is confirmed with a code or button from the verification email. Keep your password private, do not share your account, and tell EdSol if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Free use, plans and payments
The free account includes the practice library, single-part practice and one continuous full mock. Paid plans add more AI feedback, tutoring and full mocks; the current plans, prices and allowances are shown on the Pricing page and before you pay.
Plans are prepaid in Bangladeshi taka for the term shown and do not renew automatically, so there is nothing to cancel. Payment is taken on SSLCommerz's secure page, never on EdSol; which cards, banks and mobile wallets appear depends on SSLCommerz. A plan starts only after EdSol has confirmed the payment with SSLCommerz: a browser redirect alone does not activate it.
Refunds
A plan that was charged correctly and activated is not refundable, except where the law requires it.
If you were charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or paid without your plan starting, write to subscription@edsol.academy with the order reference from Plan & billing. EdSol checks the order with SSLCommerz and corrects it, either by starting the plan or by refunding the extra charge to the original payment method. Timing then depends on SSLCommerz and your bank or wallet. Nothing here limits a consumer right you cannot give up by law.
Bands, scores and AI feedback
Every band EdSol shows is an estimate for practice, never an official IELTS result. Listening and Reading are marked against the answer keys; Writing and Speaking feedback comes from AI through OpenRouter and can be wrong. EdSol does not promise any band, exam result, visa or admission outcome.
AI tools have daily or monthly allowances by plan, and may sometimes be slow or unavailable when an AI provider is busy.
Fair use
Use EdSol for your own learning. Do not:
- create several accounts to get around free limits;
- share or resell a paid account;
- copy, scrape or republish practice material, or use automated tools to download it;
- try to get past sign-in, plan or access controls;
- overload, attack or disrupt the service.
EdSol may limit, pause or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk.
Practice content
Some practice material comes from third-party sources. It, and every name and mark in it, belongs to its owners. Using EdSol does not give you any right to copy or publish that material. To report a rights concern, write to admin@edsol.academy.
Saved work and availability
When you are signed in, answers, notes, timers, attempts and saved Speaking sessions are kept with your account. Anything you do while signed out stays only in that browser and is lost if you clear its site data. Features and content can change, and the service may be briefly unavailable during updates.
Services EdSol uses
EdSol runs on Hostinger, which hosts the website, database, practice files and email. Other services are used only for the features that need them:
- Google: sign-in, if you choose it.
- OpenRouter and the AI model it routes to: AI feedback and the IELTS Tutor.
- SSLCommerz: payments.
- YouTube: video lessons.
- jsDelivr and dictionaryapi.dev: the on-device speech model and single-word dictionary lookups.
Each has its own terms. How your data moves between them is explained in the Privacy policy.
IELTS and independence
IELTS is a registered trademark jointly owned by the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge University Press & Assessment. EdSol uses the name only to describe its independent practice and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by those organisations.
