How these estimates work
- The overall band is the average of the four skill bands, rounded to the nearest half band. An average ending in .25 rounds up to the next half band, and one ending in .75 to the next whole band.
- Listening uses the band table IELTS publishes for 40 questions. Reading shows the band your score reaches, from the average marks IELTS publishes for each band.
- The marks needed for a band vary slightly between test versions, so every result here is an estimate, not an official score.
